The great spelling bee
Today our whole grade did a spelling bee. Me and Cari were cheering for My friend Alison. The last two people were Jared & Alison i was really exited both of them were from Mr.Reeds class. Jared lost the word and Alison had 1 last chance to wow the crowd. She got her word. M-a-c-a-r-o-n-i" she said. She was correct! i was really exited i can't wait to make her a card!

Hospitalty House
12/4/08
Dear Citizens of Walled Lake,
Have you ever imagined coming home and not having any food? This happens to more families than you think. In Walled Lake alone, the local Hospitality House helps over 600 families each month. You can help this worthy cause by donating to your local Hospitality House.
My 5th grade class and I got the opportunity to go to the Hospitality House. We almost gave 1,000 pounds of food. I also got to help feed people at Gray Centers of Hope. Families in our community spend money on food and not being able to pay their bills. It is a good thing we have the Hospitality House. You can have your house and food.
If you don’t have enough food to donate you can give copy paper, toilet paper, postage stamps, gifts for little kids and a lot more items. And if you don’t have any food to donate you can volunteer!
You can also go to Gray Centers of Hope or start a club to donate food. If you have not donated food to people who needed it now is your chance. Go out to the nearest Hospitality House and donate. You will feel like you have a new gold heart when you go donate.
Sincerely,
Hanna G
